How to extract TiVo video to an iPod video in 3 simple steps
The following guide will explain how to simply get video from the TiVo unit to iPod using free software.

- Extract the video file from the tivo to your computer
Assuming you already know how to extract the mpeg file in 1 step using the tytools software you will end up with a nice mpeg file that you have extracted from the TiVo.
- Open Videora iPod converter and open the video file by clicking the 1 click conversion button.
note: you can change the default output directory etc for the video files under setup.
tip: you can have the program convert more than 1 file simply select as many files as you want and it will queue them up.
You will now have a nice .mp4 file properly formatted in 320x240 for use on your iPod.
- Drag the completed .mp4 file from the Videora iPod folder to the iTunes library and then dock your iPod. You will then see the new video file in your movies folder on your iPod.
The results are quite impressive!
