We are a couple of TiVo-enthusiasts who want to use a TiVo in The Netherlands. Since the TiVo-concept isn't officialy available outside the US and UK, we can't buy a TiVo in a store around the corner together with the subscription-service for guide-content. That's the reason we started this community: to make the TiVo-concept work in the Netherlands. Furthermore we want to bring the concept into reach of anybody who wants a TiVo in Holland, but doesn't have the in-depth knowledge to make it work. Currently we have a working emulator-service which is freely available for non-commercial use to any person who wants to use a TiVo in The Netherlands.
