The nlTiVo-community is build on top of the DutchTiVoGuide. This is a database and a set of scripts that can retrieve TV guide data from XMLTV and convert it into the slice format used by the TiVo.
Limitations:
- The license on the software only allows it to be used in those parts of the world which cannot obtain a program subscription service from TiVo, Inc.
- The license on the software only allows the program to be used for non-commercial purposes. You cannot sell this program, nor can you use this program to sell a service.
All information supplied included guidedata/howtos/files are supplied for non-profit and hobbyists use only. We don’t support or guarantee TiVo software/hardware. We also don’t support or guarantee guidedata on a weekly basis. There maybe weeks or days of missing guidedata.
nlTiVo does not, and will not support the selling of TiVo hardware or software for profit. All TiVo units must be imported on a per user basis. Be aware that there is no official (or non-offical) sellers of TiVo hardware in The Netherlands. Be wary of any persons in The Netherlands charging exorbitant prices and promising guide data/support.
The nlTiVo website including the service emulator is run by hobbyists for hobbyists. We are not a commercial organization, nor do we make or wish to make money for the services we provide.
