"nlTiVo" is better described as the Dutch TiVo community. This community is formed around a couple of enthusiasts who like to make the TiVo-concept available to people in The Netherlands. Thanks to the work of some of our members, it is far from difficult to get a Dutch TiVo up-and-running.

Using TiVo in The Netherlands

Obtaining a TiVo is easy, but as TiVo-devices are currently not sold in The Netherlands, there is no commercial Dutch program guide subscription-service available for it. The nlTiVo-community brings the necessary Dutch guide-data to your TiVo via an emulator-service. This service is free-of-charge and is provided only for private, non-commercial use.

Joining the community

If you are after help or if you want to join our community, please refer to our mailinglist. Running a website, maintaining an emulator-service and enhancing the system are time-intensive activities. If you know Perl, Ruby (on Rails) or any other language which might come in hand and/or if you are willing to help out with one or more of the above, please let us know.
